Setup a POP3 / IMAP email account in Mac
Open Mac Mail. Choose “Mail” > “Add Account…”.
Select “Other Mail Account”, and then click “Continue”.
You will need to enter the following information:- Full Name : Type your name. This is the name of the sender in email messages that you send from this account.
- Email address : Full email address
- Password : Email account password
Click “Sign In”.
You will need to enter the following information:
Incoming mail server
- Account Type :POP/IMAP
- Description : Whatever you want (example: POP Account)
- Incoming mail server : mail.yourdomain.com
- Untick “Automatically manage connection settings” in IMAP / POP
- User Name : Your full email address (example: john@your-domain.com)
- Password : Your email password
Outgoing email server- Description: Whatever you want (example: POP Account)
- Outgoing Mail Server :mail.yourdomain.com
- Untick “Automatically manage connection settings” in IMAP / POP
- Use only this server: Checked
- Use Authentication: Checked
- User Name: Your full mailbox address (example: john@your-domain.com)
- Password: Your mailbox password

Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Port : 2525
Incoming Server: webxxxx.dataplugs.com
- IMAP Port : 993
- POP3 Port : 995
Outgoing Server: webxxxx.dataplugs.com
- SMTP Port : 465
Click “Connect” if you receive a message about a security certificate.
Check “Take account online” box.
Click “Create” to complete the set-up.
