Setup a POP3 / IMAP email account in Microsoft Outlook 2011(Mac)
Open Outlook. Select “Tools” > “Account”.
Choose “E-mail account” Icon.You will need to enter the following information:
- Email address : Full email address
- Password : Email account password
- User Name : Full email address
- Type : POP3/IMAP
- Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP) : mail.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing email server (SMTP) : mail.yourdomain.com
Note :
Non-SSL Settings Secure SSL / TLS Settings Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com - IMAP Port : 143
- POP3 Port : 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Port : 2525
Incoming Server: web100x.dataplugs.com - IMAP Port : 993
- POP3 Port : 995
Outgoing Server: web100x.dataplugs.com
- SMTP Port : 465
Remark : If you use Secure SSL / TLS Settings, check the “Use SSL to connect” box in both outgoing and Incoming mails.
Click “Add Account”.
In the Accounts window, click on “More Options” under Outgoing server.
From the Authentication menu, select “Use Incoming Server Info”.
Click “OK”.
