Setup a POP3 / IMAP email account in Windows live mail
Open Windows Live Mail. Select “Account” > “Email”.
Enter the following information for E-mail Accounts:
- Email Address : Full email address
- Password : Email account password
- Display name for your sent messages : Type your name. This is the name of the sender in email messages that you send from this account.
Check the checkbox “Manually configure server settings” for e-mail account and click “Next”.
Insert the incoming and outgoing server information:
Note :Non-SSL Settings Secure SSL / TLS Settings Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com - IMAP Port : 143
- POP3 Port : 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Port : 2525
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com - IMAP Port : 993
- POP3 Port : 995
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Port : 465
Logon user name : type your email address
Remark : If you use Secure SSL / TLS Settings, check the “Requires a secure connection (SSL/TLS)” box.
If you do not have a SSL cert for your domain, please use TLS secure connection or refer to configure Email Client information in cPanel.

Check the checkbox “Requires authentication” .
Click on the “Next”.
Click “Finish”.
