Windows Server licensing on a dedicated server is not simply a line item in a hosting quote. The licensing outcome depends on the Windows Server edition, licensing metric, physical or virtual deployment, number of users or devices, and who supplies and manages the license.
A dedicated server gives one organization control over its hardware, but it does not remove software licensing obligations. Confirm the application requirements, server topology, access model, and provider’s licensing scope before deployment so the design is compliant and costs remain predictable.

Enterprise systems can introduce additional access paths, particularly when administrators, staff, service accounts, and external users connect to the same environment.
